# JustGiving

## Getting Started

The JustGiving feature allows you to connect Mix It Up with your JustGiving fundraiser for donation alerts for you and your team. To connect, simply copy and paste the URL for your fundraising page into the text box and click the Log In button. That pasted page URL is what selects the specific fundraiser you receive alerts for. There is no separate personal account authentication or OAuth step within Mix It Up (it uses its own app-level API credentials).

Both of JustGiving's page address formats work, whether you paste the whole thing or just the part after the last slash:

- justgiving.com/fundraising/your-page, the classic format
- justgiving.com/page/your-page, the format introduced by JustGiving's redesign

The scheme, the www, and anything after a `?` or a `#` are all ignored, so a link copied straight out of your browser works as-is. A bare page name typed on its own is treated as a classic page.

This service works with the [JustGiving Donation Event](/docs/integrations/justgiving#justgiving-donation-1-minute-delay) and additional special identifiers that can be used can be found on the [Donations Special Identifiers](/docs/reference/special-identifiers#donations) page.

## Events

### JustGiving Donation (1 Minute Delay)
This event fires when a JustGiving donation is detected. It provides all of the [Donations](/docs/reference/special-identifiers#donations) special identifiers along with all of the standard [User](/docs/reference/special-identifiers#user) special identifiers that represent the user that sent the donation.
