## Getting Started

[Stream Avatars](https://streamavatars.com/) functionality is handled directly through the Stream Avatars program. Prior to connecting Stream Avatars to Mix It Up, you must ensure the [Developer API](/docs/reference/developer-api) is enabled on the Services page. From there, activate the Mix It Up integration inside Stream Avatars to make use of your currencies.
