Our software licenses (including the Mix It Up Source-Available License and End User License Agreement) do not grant rights to our names, logos, characters, or trade dress (the “Marks” and “Brand Assets”).
1. Our Marks (non-exhaustive)
- Company word mark: “Blazing Cacti™”
- Product word mark: “Mix It Up™”
- Logos: the Blazing Cacti “Fire Cactus” logo; the Mix It Up Spiral logo
- Character marks: Mixie (name and character design)
- Other Brand Assets: product icons, app badges, lockups, color palettes, typography, and distinctive UI trade dress
Symbol note: We may not display ™/® every time. Lack of a symbol does not waive our rights. Use ™ for unregistered marks and ® only for registered marks covering the relevant goods/services.
2. Permitted Use (without separate permission)
- Factual, non-prominent references (e.g., “Compatible with Mix It Up™”) in plain text
- Links to mixitup.bot or official docs
- Truthful editorial/review screenshots with attribution
3. Prohibited Use (unless we agree in writing)
- Using any Mark/Brand Asset in product names, company names, domains, social handles, or app titles
- Logos, the Spiral, or Mixie in a way implying sponsorship/endorsement
- Altering or remixing logos or the Mixie character; creating merch or avatars
- Registering or enforcing rights in confusingly similar marks
4. Attribution
Use the following when space allows:
“Mix It Up” and the Spiral logo are trademarks of Blazing Cacti LLC. “Mixie” character © and ™ Blazing Cacti LLC.
5. Permission
For uses outside the “Permitted” list, email legal@mixitup.bot with asset, mockups, distribution, and timeline.
6. Enforcement
We may restrict or revoke permission at any time. All goodwill from use of the Marks/Brand Assets inures to Blazing Cacti LLC.
